Integrated Assessment
It means...
Integrated assessment is an interdisciplinary approach that combines, interprets, and communicates knowledge from diverse scientific disciplines to inform policy, enabling the evaluation of an entire cause-effect chain of a problem from a holistic perspective.
By actively engaging with policymakers, industry, and civil society, we aim to co-create pathways toward inclusive and sustainable (energy) futures. This approach employs a diverse mix of methods, including quantitative and qualitative data analysis, visioning exercises, participatory techniques, and multi-criteria decision support tools.
My focus:
My initial focus was on developing methodologies for participatory decision support. More recently, we have applied these mixed-method approaches to various empirical cases, providing decision-making support to mayors, ministries, and regional governours.
